Hi guys great day out. We went to Newtown to the greatest coffee place on earth. The place was bustling with over worked coffee grinders, steaming posts creaming the milk to perfection and also happy people sipping on something thats really special.
This week some time I'll be cooking "Beef Cheeks" the way I love em. Slowly braised for more than 4 hours with plenty of veg, vanilla bean, a really good beef stock or chicken stock if you like, a good bottle of red and just watch them slowly simmer away.
Just thinking about it gives me great feelings of pleasure. Soft, rich, flavours with a hint of Vanilla Bean. I tell you it's amazing.
Beef cheeks are not so ready available in your butchers so you will need to order them in advance. Once you try try them you will never cook a high end cut again.
Remember not to drink to much whilst cooking it ends up really nasty in the end to the point of not being able to finish cooking the meal for the guests. mamamia i tell you.
